PATIENT ON BOARD: Yesa
ACCIDENT DESCRIPTION: Aircraft was in cruise flight enroute to an
interhospital transfer when it struck a 10 pound snow goose. Aircraft
configuration at time of incident was 125 Knots at 1000 feet msl. The goose
struck the pilots chin bubble and shattered it. Plexiglass and goose down
entered cockpit under the pilots seat.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The mission was handed off and an
uneventful landing was made at
N67 (Wings Field)
