St. Anthony's Flight for Life - Non-injury incident

		on board.  

DESCRIPTION	Enroute to the Children's Hospital in Denver from 
		Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greely, a hawk 
		collided with the left hand windscreen, shattering 
		it.  The crew was showered with pieces of 
		plexiglass, as well as blood and feathers from the 
		hawk.  The pilot executed an immediate landing in 
		a vacant baseball field with no further damage.  
		The patient, a child who had been struck by a car, 
		had been medicated and slept through the entire 
		event.  His transport was completed by Denver 
		AirLife. 

ADDITIONAL INFO	All crew members were wearing SPH-5 helmets.
