GREAT SW PKWY GRAND PRAIRIE, TX 75052 WEATHER WINDY AIRCRAFT_TYPE AUGUSTA 109 TEAM PILOT, FN, FP. No injuries reported. No patient. DESCRIPTION The aircraft experienced a hard landing on the rooftop of the parking garage of Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital where the helicopter has a home base. (It is believed the landing occurred as the aircraft was departing base to relocate to another facility and it is not known if the high winds were a factor in the hard landing). ADDITIONAL INFO The extent of the damage to the new aircraft which was put in service in August is still being assessed assessed--damage to the tail rotor is evident as well as a light pole and concrete in the parking garage. The FAA is investigating.
