TEAM		Pilot, Check Airman. No injuries reported. 

DESCRIPTION	Check pilot was demonstrating touchdown 
		autorotation as aircraft entered a high rate of 
		descent during deceleration.  Check pilot 
		attempted power recovery and aircraft landed level 
		next to runway on sod.  Tailboom was severed by 
		main rotor aft of the horizontal stabilizer as 
		aircraft slid to a stop
