Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE Bell 430 TAIL# N 431 UM TEAM Pilot, Nurse, Nurse. No injuries reported. No patient. DESCRIPTION After landing at a scene, medical crew departed the aircraft. Pilot elected to ground taxi aircraft to a different position. While turning aircraft, tail rotor struck metal highway marker. Aircraft became airborn (5-6 feet) and began rotating to right. Pilot executed a hovering autorotation, landing hard on left aft skid. After landing, pilot completed aircraft emergency shut down Crew and patient returned to University of Michigan Hospital via ground. ADDITIONAL INFO Substantial damage to skid and tail rotor.
