Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE BELL 222 TAIL# N29KH TEAM Pilot, 2 Nurses. No injuries reported. Patient on board. DESCRIPTION While in level flight on an interfacility transport, aircraft suddenly developed a severe vibration. Due to the severity of the vibration, the pilot was unable to read the instruments or transmit GPS coordinates. Pilot immediately elected to execute a precautionary landing to a nearby field. Any increase of collective pitch caused the vibration to worsen, therefore a run-on landing was completed with no further incident and patient transport was completed by ground ambulance. Upon post landing inspection, the right front transmission lift link was found broken at the lower threads.
