Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE BK 117 A4 TAIL# 586 BH TEAM PILOT, NURSE, PARAMEDIC. No injuries reported. No patient. DESCRIPTION On final approach to referring hospital, engine low light illuminated. Crosscheck of torque indicated #1 engine was supplying all of the power. Maximum continuous single engine power was applied and OEI flight was established. Base communication was notified they were diverting to the nearby airport (Kinston Regional) to perform a single engine approach. After safe landing, base communication was notified by cell phone and mechanic was requested. Crew was debriefed and transportation was arranged for their return back to base.
