Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE BK 117 TAIL# N460H TEAM Pilot, Nurse, Medic. No injuries reported. Patient on board. DESCRIPTION Aircraft while at cruise altitude (1800 msl) was involved in a large bird strike. Evasive action was taken by pilot to miss bird to no avail. The bird struck two feet on the outboard blue blade causing significant vibration of aircraft to occur. Pilot was able to make a normal approach and landing at 1226 a few miles North of Hamden in Jackson County. A second aircraft was in the area quickly diverted to the location and completed the patient mission. The aircraft sustained damage to the blade trim tab and static wick on one of the rotor blades.
