Yale Ave. Tulsa, OK 74136 WEATHER Clear. Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE MBB BK-117 TAIL# N62LF TEAM Pilot, Mechanic. No injuries reported. No patient. DESCRIPTION During a maintenance flight, while turning for final approach into the auxiliary helipad, the pilot felt a vibration. The aircraft was landed immediately and upon inspection it was found to be missing a starboard side engine cowling. The engine cowling pieces were recovered from a residential area just north of the auxiliary pad. No one on the ground was injured.
