Not a factor AIRCRAFT_TYPE BK-117 A-4 TAIL# 138HH TEAM Pilot, Flight Nurse Flight RT. No injuries reported. No patient. DESCRIPTION Aircraft was en route to pick up a patient on a interhospital mission. Approximately 5 minutes after liftoff the pilot noted an indicator light for the number 2 hydraulic system. The mission was aborted, the pilot then noticed a decrease in the corresponding hydraulic pressure gauge. A precautionary landing was performed at the closest airport. There were no injuries, the maintenance crew replaced the number 2 hydraulic pump and associated fittings. A crack was found in a banjo fitting which caused the hydraulic fluid to leak out.
