DESCRIPTION The aircraft had dropped off a patient and was returning to its base utilizing a FAA approved helicopter route that took it down the Potomac River at to below 200 feet AGL. The wreckage was located in the river. While the surviving crew member believed that the aircraft had contacted an object during flight, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
