DESCRIPTION	
	Aircraft was landing at their home base airport.  They were on
	approach to land, at approximately 100 feet AGL at 55 knots.  The
	Pilot instructed the flight crew to open their doors.  The left hand
	sliding door exited the aircraft and struck the main rotor blades. 
	The Pilot made a precautionary landing without further incident.
