Not a factor Team: Pilot, flight nurse, and flight paramedic. No injuries reported. Patient on board. Description: While en route to the receiving hospital, the crew heard a loud bang in the engine area followed by an uncommanded yaw and engine chip light. No loss of power was noted and the team worked together to identify a suitable landing site. The pilot declared an emergency and performed a run on landing in an unoccupied school parking lot without further incident. The patient was transported by ground to the receiving facility. Initial examination revealed damage to the main and tail rotors as well as the pilot side cowling. The aircraft has been transported by ground to the local maintenance facility for further inspection.
