Weather: Clear. Not a factor Team: Pilot, FN, FRT. No injuries reported. Patient on board. Description: A small plastic bag from an uncovered dumpster blew into the main rotor on approach to the hospital helipad. No damage to the aircraft. Aircraft inspected and continued with no further incident. Additional Info: Follow-up with hospital security, recommended a closed dumpster and closer monitoring. Also, increased awareness of the hazard noted in the LZ hazard information to be passed on to the pilot when given landing info for this LZ.
