	Rochester, MN 55902

Type: CE-550
Tail #: N814AM

Weather: VMC

Team: Pilot, First Officer, RN and Paramedic . No injuries reported. Patient on board.

Description:
The flight was planned from Rapid City, SD to St. Paul, MN. When the
pilots lowered the landing gear prior to landing at St. Paul, they
heard and felt the gear come down normally, but received no gear down
and locked confirmation lights. They completed the landing gear will
not extend checklist. After performing many other checks they felt
confident it was an indication problem. They conferred with
maintenance and the chief pilot and the aircraft diverted to
Rochester, MN. The Rochester airport was chosen due to its longer and
wider runways, 24 hour crash fire and rescue services, and appropriate
medical care for the patient. An uneventful landing was performed at
the Rochester airport. The patient was transported via helicopter to
the destination hospital in St. Paul, MN. Post flight inspection
confirmed the landing gear were functioning normally and the landing
gear indicator lights were malfunctioning due to a loose wire behind
the instrument panel. The item was repaired and the aircraft returned
	to service.
