Not a factor Team: 2 x Pilots, Flight Nurse, Flight Paramedic, Flight Physician. No injuries reported. No patient. Description: The aircraft was dispatched on a Medevac from Grande Prairie AB to High Prairie AB. Immediately upon take-off from CYQU, the Master Caution Light illuminated along with the #1 Engine Chip Caution Panel Segment. Checklist procedures were carried out and the engine was shut down. The aircraft returned to Grande Prairie airport and landed on Rwy 25 without further incident. Additional Info: #1 engine was removed and returned to the Engine Repair Center for inspection and assessment. Rental engine installed and aircraft returned to service on 8 Nov 2008.
