Weather: Clear. Not a factor Team: Pilot, Flight Nurse, Flight Paramedic. No injuries reported. Patient on board. Description: Description: While transporting a patient to a St. Louis area tertiary care center, the pilot and med crew heard a loud sound which was followed by the complete loss of power on the number two engine. The pilot secured the engine and immediately diverted to St. Louis Downtown Parks Airport where a successful run-on single engine was performed.. The patient and crew were then transported via ground ambulance to the receiving facility. Additional Info: The following day, the number two engine was replaced and the aircraft was returned to service. The engine is now being sent to the manufacturer for further inspection to determine the cause of the failure.
