Weather: 600 foot ceiling and 5 miles visibility

Team: Pilot, two nurses and a ride along. No injuries reported. No patient. 

Description: 
	During cruise flight to sending facility in IMC, the #1 hydraulic
	system failed.  The pilot and crew complied with emergency procedures,
	requested clearance to Peoria International Airport (PIA), and
	executed instrument approach at PIA.  The aircraft was placed out of
	service, and a spare aircraft was put into service.  Maintenance
	personnel notified.  Upon inspection, a chaffed hydraulic was found
	and replaced.  The aircraft was placed back in service the next day.
