Not a factor Team: Two pilots. Two Flight Paramedics. . No injuries reported. No patient. Description: Engine chip light on #2 engine illuminated during approach to land. The checklist was followed and the aircraft was landed without incident at Halifax International Airport (home base). Additional Info: #2 Engine chip detectors were inspected. A few small flakes were observed on the forward chip detector. The chip detectors cleaned, reinstalled and a 30 minute ground run was carried out with no anomalies. The chip detectors were re-inspected, found serviceable, cleaned and re-installed. Engine oil was drained and replaced.
