Type: Bell 407
Tail #: N407AM

While flying over a mountainous area south of Las Vegas, the aircraft
encountered severe wind shear. The aircraft lost significant altitude
and its direction of flight was altered. The pilot was able to
stabilize the aircraft quickly and decided to make a precautionary
landing at Las Vegas? McCarran Airport, rather than at the hospital
The crew was unharmed as well as the patient. The patient was
delivered safely to the hospital by ground ambulance with the Guardian
	Air Crew aboard.
