Superstition Springs Blvd, Suite 224 Mesa, AZ 85206 Type: PC 12-45 Tail #: N317NA Operator/Vendor: Omniflight Helicopters, Inc. Weather: Clear. Not a factor Team: N/A . No injuries reported. No patient. Description: N317NA was parked in its normal spot on the ramp. The mechanic was working on the aircraft when a Cessna 172 taxied southbound into the parking area. The mechanic saw that the plane was on a collision course with N317NA. He attempted to alert the taxing aircraft but was unable to. The Cessna?s left wing came into contact with N317NA left winglet. Initial examination of N317NA by the mechanic showed no damage. The Cessna had about a 3-4 inch dent in the leading edge about ½ deep. Additional Info: The PC 12 was taken out of service while maintenance personnel conducted an inspection for hidden damage. Aircraft was then returned to service.
