Weather: Clear. Not a factor

Team: Pilot, Flight Nurse, Flight Paramedic. No injuries reported. No patient. 

Description: 
	On departure the aircraft struck a bird at 2500'MSL 4nm east of the
	helipad (2SD1). All systems indicated normal, however, the crew
	aborted the flight and returned to the helipad.  The aircraft was
	taken out of service, and inspected by the Director of Maintenance. No
	abnormalities or defects were noted and the aircraft was returned to
	service.
	
	 

Additional Info: 
	The bird remains were not positively identified, however it is
	believed that the aircraft struck a Canada Goose.
