Description:
En route to a local hospital, with a patient on board, near the Fresno
Airport, a drone was spotted within 15 - 20 feet at approximately 1000
ft AGL. The pilot diverted around the drone, but was unable to
acertain its originating position. The airport tower and PD were
	notified.

Additional Info:
Processes were followed and good CRM occurred with the crew. News
media was very interested and the program chose to cooperate, hoping
to bring attention to the danger of drones at this altitude and near
